To provide an escape, however temporary, at the last minute until a more permanent solution can be found.
How We Work
We use evidence-based solutions, such as rapid re-housing and case management, to provide housing and professional support services. Our approach focuses on stabilizing individuals and families and potentially connecting them to essential community resources. We typically allow 7 days of housing, followed by the possibility of employment.
Mountain Haven DOES NOT seek monetary contributions from any entity, but relies on the generosity of various hotel business owners. If you are ever solicited for funds, please report the incident immediately as the only donations we would ever need are community hours to offset upkeep and damages.
Eligibility Requirements
- Proof of need (at risk or literally homeless).
- Willingness to work towards a self-sustaining future.
- Adherence to program guidelines and house rules.
